4/19/18

Legendary Hotels, LLC hosted a community update session at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts. The expected open date is early December 2018. Renovations are underway.

3/14/17

About three weeks ago, a bank committed funding to the Retlaw team. The county then authorized additional funding. The city is on a path to committing funding, pending City Council vote. Good signs from the state regarding historic tax credit, not through yet, but a good sign that the application may be approved. Also a great opportunity to take advantage of an energy savings program. All funding sources have been identified and two have fallen into place already. Anticipate construction will begin mid-summer if the historic tax credit application is approved. No significant flags at this point. Looks promising. They plan to make FDL their corporate headquarters.

Hotel is moving forward. Appraisal came back better than anticipated. Working with bank on financing. The project is moving forward and we believe work will begin soon in first quarter of this year. Aggressive schedule completion in 6 months. This may be ambitious based on contractor availability
